Why Cat Tales?

Yes, I write stories about cats.

These short tales featuring cats in one way or another occurred to me while I was writing “Do Cats Have Souls” and I realized that cats have stories too, and their stories are … well, they actually turn out to be very human:

– George loves his human so much, he is willing to give her anything to make her happy – even his life;

– Snowball can’t figure why she doesn’t seem to fit in anywhere – so she spends all her young life searching for a place to belong, until she finally finds a place that just might be right …

– Did you know the only historical religious leader who we know had a favorite cat was … Muhammed?

– There’s a nightmarish cat horror story here and even a cat murder mystery (spoiler alert: the human is dead, and only the cat knows who did it);

– there are several cat love stories here, which, in fact, are actually about humans … but without the cats, the love would never have happened;

– there’s the legend of the Egyptian cat goddesss Bastet, and the legend of the white huntress of the monastery of Lake Constance, Pangur Ban, and more.

Below, I have uploaded three Cat Tales to video

– the other 9 Tales are in the book “Do Cats Have Souls?”

Enjoy!

I learned about love from a cat named Casanova
A black cat appeared at my window.
The prophet was missing a sleeve.
