What kind of data we collect

We (ethansen.com) only collect data that you give us voluntarily – for example, if you sign up for our newsletter, you will asked to give us your e-mail address. Other kinds of data you may be asked to provide include your street address, for example, if you order merchandise, etc.

A note on commenting

At this time, there is no option on this website for you to place comments on this website – that means many forms of data which are mentioned below will not be collected. however, if we may activate the commenting option at a later date, in which case the rules applicable to commenting mentioned below will come into effect.

How long we retain your data

If you sign up for our newsletter or other similar services, we will retain your information (name and e-mail address, for example) for as long as you receive to the newsletter, etc. If you order for merchandize or other one-time products, we will retain your address on a secured hard drive for one yer in case you want to use the address to order something again.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
